About Sarah Horrar
I am a self taught artist who works from home in the fringe hours around being a stay at home mother to three little boys. I have participated in numerous shows around Kentucky and sold my art around the world. Originally born on the west coast, but raised on a farm nestled in the hills of Kentucky, many parts of my identity are rooted in the rhythms of nature that made up my childhood. I describe my need to create art as a compulsion, driven by the inspirations that strike randomly throughout my days. I am justice oriented and seek to create understanding and connection between people through my art. My desire is that my art will reflect the diversity of nature -and life-in all aspects.

I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way - things I had no words for.
